This photo was taken at the first Olympic Development Program Camp held by USA Water Polo designed for kids ages 13 and younger. Previously camps had only been available to older kids. Campers arrived in Huntington Beach, CA from all over CA for the opportunity to participate. At the time of this camp Jesse Smith, seen here giving a demonstration, had already played in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Olympics for USA Water Polo. ( He would go on to play in Rio in the 2016 Olympics). Jesse is assisted here by then 14 year old Jake Ehrhardt. Jake is currently on the FINA Intercontinental Men's Roster. Many of the kids in this pool are currently playing on Olympic Development Zone Teams with USA Water Polo.
